Obstruction des tours de refroidissements

An excessive mineral salt thickening factor together with heavy corrosion cause the obstruction of cooling towers. For example, alkaline earth deposits reduce heat transfer on the walls of the cooling tower and its exchanger. The long-term consequences are overheating and then the failure of the tower, not to mention very considerable energy losses and the development of legionnaire’s disease bacteria.
